When in the mood for truly delicious German food paired with a magnificent selection of German beers that can be had in regular pints or “das BOOT” (!), head to Leopold’s in Russian Hill. This little restaurant is truly a gem in the city! While German food is not necessarily considered “amazing” in most circles — once you eat here, you may reconsider.
Another Korean restaurant that fits right into the “not so much” category of Korean restaurants in San Francisco. They attempt a unique Korean fusion spin to their menu, but sadly — the few things I’ve tried fall short of “good”.
Vicoletto is a small Italian restaurant in North Beach, bringing a little taste of Italy to San Franciscans. Any of their pasta dishes are worth a try, and I think I found my new favorite “cheap white wine” here!
So close to my home, I have one of the greatest wine bars in San Francisco. Internos is a small and quaint wine bar, elegant and attractive, that houses some amazing wine selections and perhaps the best bar owner in San Francisco. Give it a try.
