Studio Gourmet is a San Francisco-based talk show and cooking demonstration rolled into one. Featuring some of the finest chefs in San Francisco, the evening is dedicated to a live cooking demonstration by the chef, followed by a personal 1:1 talk show where you get an insider’s view to the chef — complete with drinks and appetizers, followed by a tasting of the chef’s food.
When there’s talk about burgers, “Umami” is inevitably always mentioned as the top contender for the best burger. Their newest and only location in the Bay Area just opened last week — and I make my way there to review nearly the entire menu.

Incanto is a restaurant that is commonly associated with offal–but I discover that it’s about so much more than just pig.
“Caliente: Too Hot to Handle” is an amazing production at Teatro ZinZanni, starring Christine Deaver and Robert Lopez, with a whole crew of fascinatingly talented people in the cast. In production until June 19th, 2011 — this is one show not to be missed. And Teatro ZinZanni is San Francisco’s BEST theater and dinner show, hands down!
I’ve bitten off more than I can chew, it seems – and I’m swamped these days. I’m totally drowning in work. For the book, I have been visiting new places as often as… Read More
Acquerello is perhaps San Francisco’s best restaurant for a private and intimate date. Offering astoundingly delicious food from Tuesday to Saturday, reservations are required. While Italian in name and wine list, the food delves into regions all over the world while maintaining an Italian flair, with only two pasta dishes on the menu at best. Do not miss out on ordering the “foie gras pasta”.
