San Francisco Food Website Relaunch!

We’ve spent the better portion of the last month redesigning the website. While I did make the time to go try many restaurants, I haven’t had time to go through any photos, never mind write a post. But now that the website is done, you can expect some reviews to start coming forth, starting today.

So come over and browse. Click the header “San Francisco Food” to see the homepage.

It wasn’t an easy decision to redo the whole thing. In the process, we lost half our subscriptions that existed only on the hosted WordPress platform, and all of the social media share stats we’d accumulated over the years. A small percentage of reviews were chucked, most were refreshed, edited and kept on the website.

If you used to follow us via your WordPress account, you won’t receive any newsletters or updates of new posts in the near future. Please resubscribe with an email address.

But once we took on the project of redesigning, there was no turning back. And ultimately, despite the losses, the new design makes anything possible without any limitations.

As you can see, we have a fresh selection of advertisers and a bunch of new features rolling out. Not all of the sections are totally ready yet–but they will be. On top of that, we have many more sections that I plan to launch in the coming months — so subscribe and stay tuned!

It was my New Year’s Resolution to move from Facebook to G+, so let the madness begin.

Just click “follow” in the box over there and share this website with your friends there!

In the meantime, as I intend to focus more on cooking posts in addition to continuing with the restaurant reviews, I leave you with this.
